C++ OpenGL scenegraph SDL shadow volume

Published: 2007
Platforms: Windows

Museum is a 3D graphics showcase program written in C++ using OpenGL and SDL libraries by me and my school mate. The user wanders in a museum with keyboard (w,a,s,d) and mouse, and enjoys beautiful graphics and paintings. Museum features realtime shadows made with shadow volume technique (Z-fail), collision detection and triggers, hierarchical scenegraph and some basic animations. All the objects were modeled with Wings3D. Because of many light sources which all cast shadows, Museum needs a highendish PC (2006-2007) to run in satisfactory FPS. Museum was a school project of a computer graphics course in TKK in spring 2007.
